About Joyride & Vice
Joyride is an independent hemp cannabis brand selling California-grown THCA flower, pre-rolls and hemp derived edibles.
We launched in 2018 with one goal: make real California hemp cannabis accessible to people who'd been kept out of it — whether by geography, stigma, or sketchy industry practices. Nearly a decade later, that's still the job. Real flower, fair prices, lab-tested every batch, shipped discreetly nationwide where legal.
Joyride products are federally legal under the 2018 Farm Bill (less than 0.3% Delta-9 THC) and ship to most US states. Our tagline says it best:Life is short. Enjoy the ride.
Vice is our sister brand — premium kratom products, lab-tested for alkaloid potency and shipped discreetly nationwide where legal.
Both Joyride and Vice operate under our parent company, Bona Fide Flower. Each brand is built for a different category (Joyride for hemp-derived cannabis, Vice for kratom), but the same standards apply across both: real product, transparent testing, fair pricing, and no marketing fluff.
You can subscribe to products from either brand through Sub & Save, and they ship under the same discreet packaging standards. If you're already a Joyride customer, Vice is curated for the same kind of rider — someone who knows what they want and doesn't need to be talked into it.
When it comes to Joyride flower and pre-rolls, we don't grow our flower ourselves — we partner with California indoor farms we've vetted carefully. Small-batch growers, same quality standards across every partner, every batch lab-tested before it ships..
Vice kratom products are produced by manufacturing partners we've vetted carefully — clean facilities, controlled processes, and consistent quality across batches. Every batch is third-party lab-tested for alkaloid potency before it reaches our warehouse.
About Our Products
THCA flower is the same cannabis flower you'd find at a dispensary — grown the same way, looks the same, smells the same, hits the same. The legal difference is in the chemistry on paper.
THCA is the natural precursor to Delta-9 THC. In raw, unheated cannabis flower, the plant produces THCA — which on its own isn't psychoactive. The moment you apply heat (lighter, vaporizer, oven), THCA converts to Delta-9 THC and behaves exactly like any other cannabis flower.
The legal framing matters because of how cannabis is classified federally. Hemp-derived THCA flower contains less than 0.3% Delta-9 THC at the time of testing, which makes it federally legal to ship under the 2018 Farm Bill. Once you heat it, it does what cannabis flower has always done.
So yes — it's real flower. Real cannabis. Just sold under a different name on paper.

That said, a handful of states have additional restrictions on hemp-derived products that go beyond federal law. Your shipping address is checked at checkout, and if your area is restricted we'll let you know before the order processes — you won't accidentally end up with a product you can't legally receive.
Vice kratom products follow a different regulatory framework. Kratom is legal at the federal level but banned or restricted in a growing number of states and cities. The same checkout address verification applies — if Vice can't ship to where you live, you'll know before checkout completes.
When the rules change in your area, we update our shipping restrictions accordingly. The fastest way to know if your address qualifies is to add a product to your cart and start checkout.
Every product we sell is third-party lab-tested for potency by an independent lab. Lab testing transparency is core to how Joyride and Vice operate — for hemp-derived cannabis and kratom alike, customers should be able to verify the strength of what they're buying.
For Joyride flower and pre-rolls, testing verifies cannabinoid potency — confirming the THCA percentage and Farm Bill compliance (less than 0.3% Delta-9 THC). The independent lab verifies what we say is in the product, before it ships.
For Vice kratom, testing verifies alkaloid potency — mitragynine and 7-OH content. The lab confirms that the strength on the label matches what's actually in the tab.

Shipping & Delivery
We ship to most US states. Both Joyride flower and pre-rolls and Vice kratom products are shipped discreetly from our fulfillment center to anywhere they're legally allowed to go.
Federal and state regulations differ for hemp-derived cannabis and kratom, so the specific list of states we can serve depends on which product you're ordering. Your shipping address is verified at checkout against our current restriction list — if your area is restricted for a product in your cart, we'll let you know before the order processes.
If you order from a restricted area by mistake, we'll refund the order in full and let you know.
Most orders ship within 1-2 business days of being placed. From there, delivery typically takes 3-5 business days, depending on your location and the carrier.
Joyride flower and pre-rolls ship via ground shipping only. Vice kratom and other non-flower products are eligible for expedited shipping if you need them faster — expedited options appear at checkout when available.
You'll get a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships. That tracking link is the fastest way to see where your package is.
Every order ships in plain, unmarked packaging — no Joyride branding, no Vice branding, no cannabis or kratom references on the outer box or shipping label. The return address shows a generic shipping name, not the brand. Even the carrier doesn't get a signal about what's inside.
This is true for every order across both brands, every time. Nobody but you needs to know what's in the package.

Email us at support@bonafideflower.com with your order number, and we'll track down what's happening with your shipment. Carrier delays do happen — sometimes for reasons we can't control — but lost packages are something we make right.
If a package is genuinely lost in transit (not just delayed), we'll either reship the order or refund it, whichever works for you. We don't make customers chase carriers to get this resolved — that's our job.

Two orders minimum. After your second order ships, you can pause, skip, swap products, or cancel anytime from your account dashboard — no calls, no emails, no hoops.
The minimum exists so we can offer the deep first-order discount (49% off) without losing money on customers who subscribe just to use the promo and immediately cancel. After two orders, you're in full control.
Subscriptions are managed through our subscription portal (powered by Loop), which is separate from your Bona Fide customer account.
The easiest way to access it: every email Loop sends about your subscription (confirmations, reminders, payment notices) includes a "Manage subscription" link. Click that link and you're in — no separate password needed.
If you prefer to bookmark the direct URL, you can access your subscription portal anytime at bonafideflower.com/a/loop_subscriptions/customer. Loop will send a one-time login link to the email address on your subscription.
Once you're in, you can:
- Pause your subscription (for any length of time you choose)
- Skip your next delivery
- Swap products in your subscription

- Cancel (after your second order ships)

Yes. Sub & Save covers products from both brands — flower, pre-rolls, and Vice kratom can all be part of your subscription.
Your discount (49% off first order, 20% off after) applies across the whole subscription, regardless of which brand the products are from. You can add Joyride flower and Vice kratom to the same subscription, or run separate subscriptions for each — whichever works for how you actually use the products.
Orders, Returns & Account
Reach out and we'll figure it out.
Email us at support@bonafideflower.com with your order number and what's going on. If something's wrong with what you received — wrong product, damaged package, batch issue, never arrived — we'll replace it or refund it. We're not trying to win on technicalities.
What we can't take back is opened or used product. This is a safety and compliance requirement for cannabis and kratom products, not a brand policy — once a product is opened, we can't legally resell or restock it.
If a strain or product just wasn't what you expected, let us know anyway. We can't issue a refund, but we can point you toward something closer to what you were after.
It depends on where the address is being used.
For a recent order that hasn't shipped yet: email us at support@bonafideflower.com with your order number and the new address as soon as possible. If your order hasn't been picked and packed, we can update it. Once it's left our warehouse, you'll need to work with the carrier.
For your default shipping address: log into your Bona Fide customer account and update it in your address book. The new address will be used on your next order.
For an active subscription: log into your subscription portal at bonafideflower.com/a/loop_subscriptions/customer. Loop will send a one-time login link to your email. Update your shipping address there at least one day before your next subscription order processes.
On the login page, click "Forgot password?" and enter your email. We'll send you a reset link.
If you're not getting the email, check your spam folder first. If it still isn't there, email us at support@bonafideflower.comand we'll help get you back in.
Heads up: if you only have an active subscription and never created a Bona Fide customer account, you don't need a password at all. Just click the "Manage subscription" link in any email from us and you're in.
You can — with a few things to know.
Joyride and Vice are 21+ products, so the recipient needs to be of legal age to receive them. Whoever signs for the package needs to be able to confirm they're 21 or older — both brands ship through carriers that may require age verification on delivery.
When placing an order as a gift:
- Use the recipient's shipping address (not yours)
- Make sure the recipient is comfortable receiving cannabis or kratom products through the mail
- Confirm the product is legal to ship to their state — your shipping address verification at checkout will tell you
We don't currently offer gift wrapping, gift notes, or gift cards — but the packaging is discreet either way, so there are no brand surprises when the recipient opens the box.

We don't have a phone line. Email keeps every conversation tracked, easy to reference, and accessible to whoever on our team is best suited to help — which works better for everyone.
Our support team responds to emails Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm Pacific. Messages sent outside business hours are answered when we're back in the office.
For urgent shipping issues (lost package, address change on an order that hasn't shipped), email us as soon as possible and we'll get to it as fast as we can — even if it's outside business hours, we'll often catch it earlier than the next business day.
You can leave a product review directly on the product page after your order — just scroll to the reviews section on any item you've purchased.
